1 peter 3:18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:
God told Moses to take his shoes off because the holiness on which he stood was meant to be experienced without barriers. The modern church would have told Him to go stand somewhere else so that He wouldn’t get the Holy ground dirty with his sinful feet. Here is a clue, God’s holiness isn’t fragile, its all consuming. He’ll mess up your sin far before you mess up His goodness.
If you belong to God, you will love ALL of His Word. You will not pick and choose which scriptures you believe and live by, and which you choose not to believe. If you belong to God, you will follow all His commandments, because you love Him. If you belong to God, you would warn and tell others about the consequences of choosing to reject and disobey God. The true believer of Jesus Christ LIVES OUT their faith. They speak and declare the FULL COUNSEL of God (Acts 20:27). Not just the scriptures that won’t offend people, but ALL OF HIS WORD! For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek (Rom 1:16). REPENT, AND BELIEVE IN THE GOSPEL.
